Isaiah Robinson sings KANYE WEST 9.2.05 from Katrina Ballads
Here’s a video from last year’s performance of KATRINA BALLADS at (le) Poisson Rouge. The text was spoken by Kanye West, live on NBC’s telethon to support the Katrina relief effort of the Red Cross, and will live on for a long time as an important cultural moment due to his now-infamous “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”
My friend Isaiah Robinson, who I’ve known since high school, gives a really incredible performance.
